OVERVIEW

Funds daily operating costs - housing, meals, schooling, and medical care - for partner orphanages and residential child-welfare homes, plus transition support for young people aging out of the system into independent living. Funding also covers caregiver training and staffing ratios above the local regulatory minimum, since consistent, well-supported caregivers are one of the strongest predictors of outcomes for children in residential care. Partner homes are vetted annually against independent child-welfare standards, not just at intake.
